Privacy & advertising

1star.app is operated by MB Kitech. For privacy questions or requests, contact dk@kitech.lt. Last updated: 23 October 2026.

Browsing the catalog

The catalog and available research are free. Published research files are delivered through our hosting and content delivery providers. Your browser does not connect to our research database. Requests still include connection information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time.

Favorites and hidden apps

Favorites, hidden apps, and display preferences are saved only in this browser. They are not shared with other visitors or synced across devices. They remain until you clear this site's browser storage. We do not require an account.

Advertising choices

When enabled, Google AdSense serves labeled ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and device information to serve and measure advertising. A consent message lets you choose where required. Declining does not restrict the catalog, and ads never influence rankings.

You can revisit advertising consent using “Ad privacy choices” when available. How Google uses information from partner sites.

Retention and your choices

Our access-log retention policy is seven days. We do not use access logs to build advertising profiles. Hosting and advertising providers may process security, operational, or advertising records under their own policies. Information you email us is used to respond to your request and is kept only as long as needed to resolve it or meet applicable obligations.

You can contact MB Kitech to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to raise a privacy concern. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

External services

App Store links, app images, web fonts, and advertisements may contact third-party services. Their privacy practices apply to those requests. Our website is hosted on Netcup infrastructure in Germany.
